Roi Et campus

The academy is established on 10 Rai of land at Nong Pok Village in Thawat Buri District, Roi Et Province. Since our campus is only 4 kilometers away from the Roi Et airport, our students will be able to conveniently use the airport’s facilities. Our campus also focuses on incorporating highly experienced instructors as well as the latest aircrafts for the safety of the students. With our on-site classrooms, the livelihood of the students are well maintained.

Why we chose to be a boarding school?

WHY WE CHOSE ROI ET?

  • Roi Et is the chosen location because of its advanced technology at its airport as well as the capacity for training slots. Since the airport has 5 flights per day, the students can partake in several training slots without having to worry about its availability.
  • Roi Et holds easy access to airways, other controlled and uncontrolled area; which allows basic maneuvering and basic instrument flying training to take place.
  • Roi Et maintains navigation facilities such as ILS (Instrument Landing System), VOR (VHF omnidirectional range), NDB (Non-Directional Beacon) which will help the students learn hands-on systems that will be needed in their careers.
  • By choosing Roi Et, the academy is able to establish modernized facilities, technology as well as the city life that will both increase the students livelihood and learning experience.
  • Being away from home will give the student pilot the opportunity to be independent learner.

ICAO STANDARD

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) sets the standard that is accepted globally in the Aviation realm since it serves as the forum for cooperation in all fields of civil aviation among the 188 member states. Since it is crucial for regulations to be established to ensure safety, security, efficiency and professionalism, this global standard of flying is evident in how the school functions.

ICAO standard stated “students are being prepared for a lifelong career in aviation as pilots. Many of them may never have been away from home and family; yet after graduation their work may take them anywhere in the world, possibly for long periods. They should be prepared for the change of lifestyle and consequent problems which they may encounter as a result. This suggests that although the students must obviously be carefully supervised, they must be given a considerable degree of… freedom”

We understand that it can be difficult to adjust to a new school and new environment, however, our team highly prioritize the students’ livelihood and believe the facilities established will ensure that. The pilot students will not only learn to be independent, know how to work with others but will also feel secure and safe on our campus. We thrive to make give our pilot students the opportunity to grow and learn each day they spend with us.

The P2006T is “Modernizing” the old twin engine fleet in many flight training schools around the world. Not only it’s the most popular aircraft for training in Europe, which we need in Thailand, but also exceeded the expectation in real world performance, safe and suitable for student training. When you are thinking about the perfect plane for starting your training, Thai Aviation Academy has choose the TECNAM 2002JF for your gateway to the sky. For starting your pilot career’s path, the 2002JF is EASA certified airplane that equipped the unrestricted cockpit with basic flight instruments. Which is our best intention for you to start with the basics. Which such design, the over cowling is a clear canopy for excellent, unrestricted training, better for pilotage navigation and looking out for traffic. This is the plane for enjoying the beauty inside and outside.

If you have to mention the legendary and the ultimate aircraft for student, it’s hard to missed that’s Cessna 172 or well known for the name of Sky Hawk. The Sky Hawk started its production, since 1956 and still developing and under production till today. For more than 44,000 aircrafts took up to
Sky, creating many generations of aviators to the industry. Thai Aviation Academy decided to includes this aircraft on our fleet.

Robin R2160 Alpha Sport

As part of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) that the Academy includes as additional training which is also required and recommended by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to be intergraded to the pilot training course. Thai Aviation Academy sees the important in the training for future aviators to recognized and be able to recovery upset and unusual attitude. The Robin R216, also known as Aerobin, an aerobatic plane known for excellent handling, stability and its versatility.

Thai Aviation Academy sees the important of enjoyable in practical training into the lessons. Redbird FMX answers the problem, where full-motion from electric motion platform comes to life. Not only that it’s small size that can fit into the normal class room. But also create the realistic training environment with wrap – around visual that offer experience of realism for our student pilot. With accurate motion feed back from innovative 3 axis, one-of-a-kind system, is FAA and EASA approved simulator.

Softek Sim (STS)

Thai Aviation Academy recognized on how important it is to prepare the student before introducing to newer type of aircraft. The process of aircraft familiarization will help our students perform better and faster once starting to fly. This is why softek Sim, an FSTD EASA certified, can increase our student’s effeetive learning with full FTD experience. Which the lesson time given on this type of simulator can be logged into instrument time and support our student’s well coordinated practice instrument approaches. From realistic cockpit functions and hand – on practice on the avionic equipment. Softek Sim is the perfect fit for our IFR training and simulating emergency procedures training.
