COURSE :

  • Recurrent A : No person may act as a pilot in command of an aircraft carrying passengers unless that person has made at least three takeoffs and three landings within the preceding 90 days, and the required takeoffs and landings were performed in an aircraft of the same category, class, and type (if a type rating is required).
  • Recurrent IR : A person may act as pilot in command under IFR or weather conditions less than VMC if, within 180 days preceding, that person performed and logged at least three hours and three instrument approaches in an airplane for the instrument rating privileges to be maintained in actual weather conditions, or under simulated conditions.
  • Recurrent Night : No person may act as a pilot in command of an aircraft carrying passengers between sunset to sunrise unless that person has made at least three takeoffs and three landings within the preceding 90 days, and the required takeoffs and landings were performed in an aircraft of the same category, class, and type (if a type rating is required).
  •  Recurrent E : The applicant holds an expired private pilot license or
    commercial pilot license, expired not more than 90 days.
